Meditation is effortless!

In 1970, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi developed a unique technique which allows the individuals to easily and effortlessly reach the state of pure meditation. This unique technique is called Sahaja Yoga. Despite all the misconceptions about yoga and meditation in general, with regular and short sessions of Sahaja Yoga meditation it is extremely easy to feel the deep peaceful state of meditation.

Focusing, concentration, visualization is nothing to do with the true meditation. These are all created by the false masters, gurus of the modern times who are only looking after their money business.

In Sahaja Yoga meditation, everything starts with an inner awakening which is called Self Realization or Kundalini awakening. This energy of Kundalini resides dormant in every human being, and one gets awakened this energy lifts your attention above your mind enabling you to enter the state of meditation effortlessly. So how does it happen?

In our human awareness, we either think of past or future. We either struggle by the things that we have done in the past or by the things that we are planning to do. There is not even a single second for us to be in the present. When the Kundalini raises and comes to the level of the brain, it creates a gap between the thoughts and this gap gives you the state of mental silence or thoughtless awareness. And you start experiencing the present moment with great inner joy and peace.

If you are focusing on something to reach the meditation, you are on the wrong way. You cannot use your mind to reach the profound state of meditation. You need to go beyond the mind. That's why we all need the spontaneous awakening of the Kundalini energy.

About meditation

Meditation is a state of deep peace occurs when you go beyond your mind and thoughts. Unfortunately there is a big misconception about yoga and meditation in general in the western world. Meditation is usually refers to focusing on a single thought. I have no idea where this is coming from but it is nothing to do with true meditation.

Going beyond the mind and its limitations enables you to enter a new higher awareness. This awareness is called thoughtless awareness or mental silence. Einstein talked about the Torsion Area which is the same state of awareness. In this new awareness you can control your mind and thoughts. You can feel a deep and profound peace. You can establish a strong coordination between your body and soul.

All the great spiritual figures, saints, incarnations in the history actually had this state of deep meditation. The ancient realized gurus of India could only transfer the knowledge and method to a bunch of disciples. How to achieve the mental silence and establish the true connection with your Self or Spirit had been always a mystery until May 5th, 1970!!

We will explore and discover how to easily achieve the meditation in the following articles.
